Franklyn Gergits, MBA, DO, FAOCO

Franklyn Gergits, MBA, DO, FAOCO is a board-certified ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeon with fellowship training in otolaryngic allergy. He has more than two decades of experience and cares for patients at Sinus & Allergy Wellness Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Gergits specializes in advanced sinus and nasal treatments, including minimally invasive balloon sinuplasty.

Dr. Gergits earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from West Virginia University and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Lehigh University. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM).

Following an internship at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Michigan, he returned to PCOM to complete a residency in pediatric and adult otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and facial plastic surgery. He then pursued fellowship training in otolaryngic allergy at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Michigan.

He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery/Facial Plastic Surgery/Otolaryngic Allergy and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology (FAOCO).

An active member of numerous professional organizations, Dr. Gergits has published research in peer-reviewed journals on topics including urticaria, angioedema, and neonatal pulmonary mechanics. He served as a principal investigator in the TREAT Study (Aventis Pharma) and is a recipient of the Philadelphia County Medical Society’s Humaneness in Medicine Award.
