With the heightened awareness of social distancing, we need to think proactively about the little things that we can do AFTER we are exposed to the public. Follow these 3 suggestions to reduce your risk for Covid-19.
- Wash, Wash, Wash your hands and change your clothes. A shower (including washing your hair) will reduce any unknown exposure you may have experienced.
- NeilMed nasal/sinus rinse will irrigate out the nasal passages and with the turbulent saline water entering your nose, it will clean out any virus, bacteria, airborne dirt or allergen from the nasal lining before they have a chance to make you ill. This NeilMed rinse is available over the counter at most pharmacies or grocery stores.
- Wipe down containers and packages you bought from the store with a soapy warm water. Remember that the packages coming into your home may harbor viruses from exposure to the public.
Remember to use common sense, review the daily updates from the CDC, and relax. Increased stress is present in our lives right now and being mindful with adequate sleep and exercise will help maintain health.
